Hi everyone-
As Glen stated earlier, we are having some problems up loading the pictures to the Blog space. We will continue to work on it and should have more pics for you soon.
Wow!What a ride we had yesterday. We all arrived at the airport bright and early at 3:30 am. The flight was smoooooth and uneventful. We arrived on time in Houston,caught the commuter flight to Monterrey. Then a 6 hour bus ride to Casa Hogar. Praise God the bus was air conditioned because it is Muy Caliente and the humidity is crazy.
I will never forget the welcome we recieved from the children when these they saw the bus pull up. We were greeted with hugs and kisses and exclamations of joy and love. It was truely amazing to see the interaction between our kids and the Casa Hogar kids.
We settled into our rooms took cool showers (they neither have hot water nor need it for the showers)did I mention it is HOT!
We had about an hour of prayer and devotional, Rex shared his near death story and Jackie testified to the power of prayer. And we talked about the many ways we see God at work in our lives.
We were all exhausted and in bed by 11:00.
Everyone is in good spirits and eager to get started with the work.
