Well ..... what can you say
It was the last supper..... On the way home from the beach we stopped at Dominos and bought pizza for everyone it was a real treat for the kids and the "Americanos" as they call us, to have a pizza party with soda. When we were finished eating David played the much loved Casa Hogar song. It was another amazing experience as many of the Casa Hogar kids stood up to share their gratitude and express their love for us. Many of them thanked you, our families and friends for the sacrifices you have had to make in order for us to be here. And our american kids shared thier love and gratitute for the priviledge to be a part of this experience. It was an emotional time for all of us. Fernando led us all in a beautiful prayer. Then our group had all the kids sign our T-shirts. The kids had a great time signing the shirts, hugging, laughing, and saying good-bye.
The Casa Hogar kids will leave tomorrow toMonterey for a camp.
Continue to pray for us as we make our way home. I believe that I speak for everyone when I say that we are all gratified with our stay here and we look forward to telling you all about it.
Parents - I want you to know that your youth are absolutley incredible and I am honored and grateful to have had this opportunity to get to know them. They did you all proud!
